A Clue!

Because he is a big fan, Rigby dressed up as Steve from Blue's Clues for Halloween. His costume was complete with Blue, notebook, green crayon, and a set of clues.

Beat Bop Bay

This is Rigby's mom. He has shown little to no interest in his blog, as I'm sure you've noticed. Since he continues to increase his mad skills by the minute, I've taken it upon myself to let you in on his accomplishments. Lately he has been singing songs, sometimes ones I didn't realize he knew. Most of the time he mentions a portion of a song because he wants me to sing it with him. Maybe it is because he doesn't know ALL the words. Tonight he kept saying "Steve Hey hey." It took me a good 10 minutes to figure out that he wanted to sing a song from Blues Clues Big Musical Show. We sang that song a few times together while brushing teeth. Yes, we are that cool and concerned about dental hygiene.

This is the song we sang.

I've had a birthday, shout hooray!

My birthday was a few weeks ago and it was quite spectacular. It included all my favorite things:

numbers,

letters,

brownies,

animals,

airplanes,

and books.

Now that I'm 2 years old, my life is full of playing with toys, reading books, watching shows, getting into mischief and avoiding naps. This age isn't as terrible as they say.

P.S. Shout out to Grandpa H - Happy birthday today!

"Signs" Of The Times

I have been learning lots of signs. My favorite pastime, other than playing with cars, is reviewing baby signing time flashcards.

Seconds

This was my second bath today, because I am just that special or dirty. Lets just say my diapers were working overtime, for sure.

New Skills

Inquiring minds want to know what I've been up to lately. Since our last meeting, I've learned to:

sort Halloween candy,

navigate public transportation,

construct a ball holder out of an egg carton,

drink from a water bottle or pour the majority of contents down my shirt,

use sign language to get "more" food,

fix bikes,

play the recorder,

read myself to sleep,

wear an apron with style,

drink from a straw,

be an airplane tracker,

score some free candy from a cashier at Ranch Markets,

put together a puzzle on my own,

start a bike messenger business,

throw down like a gangster,

and make a letter train.

As you can see I've been very busy. I'll try to keep you posted on my current activities. Maybe that can be one of those "goals" or "resolutions" that mom keeps talking about this month.
